The DG Women Campaign Council of the Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign, Haj. Hadiza Adado, and members of the PDP Campaign Team, on 8th January, 2023 stormed Kano State to sensitize women on the importance of actively participating in the general elections and casting their votes for the Atiku/Okowa ticket.
Haj. Adado emphasized the crucial role that women play in the political process and urged them to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections. She stressed that women make up a significant portion of the voting population, and their participation can greatly impact the outcome of the elections.

The DG also highlighted the campaign’s commitment to the empowerment of women and their participation in politics and governance. She assured the women that an Atiku/Okowa administration will prioritize their needs and concerns, and work towards creating an inclusive and equitable society.
Haj. Adado’s visit to Kano was well received by the women, who pledged to actively participate in the elections and vote for the Atiku/Okowa ticket. Many of the women said that they were inspired by her words and felt motivated to make their voices heard at the polls.

She said, “H.E Atiku Abubakar is focused on bringing about a positive change for all citizens, especially the marginalized and underrepresented groups. The campaign is confident that with the support of women like those in Kano, the Atiku/Okowa ticket will be able to win the election and bring about a brighter future for the country.”
Overall, the Atiku/Okowa campaign’s DG Women Campaign Council’s efforts to involve women in the political process and its drive to empower women by making sure they are well-informed on the ways they can actively participate in the election have been a great success in Kano State, and they believe it will be the same in other states.
