A bat d!ed on my bed day after Edoelection – Gov Okpebholo says

The governor of Edo state, Monday Okpebholo, says a day after winning the September 21 governorship election, he found a d3ad bat on his bed.

He said he saw the dead bat while awaiting the results of the poll.

Okpebholo stated this during a praise concert to celebrate his inauguration as the sixth civilian governor of the state,

“I want to thank God. In this last election (on September 21, 2024 in Edo State), while I was praising God, they (the enemies of democracy) were busy operating from Arise. They (traducers) were busy operating from Facebook. They were busy operating from Channels. But I took the battle to God, because I knew the secret. Few days to the election (governorship, in Edo State), they said this guy (Okpebholo) was crazy.

We gathered to praise God in this (Edo) state. They said what was he doing? They were there at Arise, but I was listening to the voice of God. I won the battle. After the (governorship) election (in Edo State), in the morning of Sunday, September 22, 2024, I came into my room. I met a bat that d!ed on my bed, without me shooting any arrow, but the Spirit of God was there. The arrow of God settled it. The hand of God delivered me.

I am also grateful to the men of God that stood in the gap for me. I am grateful to those that believed that with God all things are possible. I will give you one piece of advice: trust in God alone, because he will do it for you.”he said
Governor Okpebholo also revealed that he did not consult any native doctor, prophet or visited any shrine to seek help throughout his senatorial contests (in 2023) and governorship (in 2024).
