Breaking: Peter Obi Defeats Tinubu In Lagos State

 

The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has defeated the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, in his home state, Lagos.

We report that Tinubu and Peter Obi have been in a tight competition regarding the numbers of voters in Lagos State.

According to DailyTrust although Tinubu won more local government areas, the former governor of Anambra State defeated him with the majority of the votes cast.

All the results of the 20 local governments have been declared with Tinubu winning in 11 while Peter Obi won in nine local governments.

With the results declared, Obi polled 582,664 while Tinubu scored 541,850.
