About Houston Grey 

Anthony Houston Grey, widely known by his stage name Houston Grey, is a Nigerian musician, songwriter, and producer with a rich history in the entertainment industry. Born 38 years ago in Warri, Delta State, and originally from Anambra State, Houston Grey is now based in Lagos, Nigeria, where he continues to craft and share his inspiring sound.

Music has always been at the core of his life, growing up in a family deeply rooted in the art. His father, Tony Grey Ozimba of Africa, was a trailblazer in the Nigerian music scene of the 70s and 80s, paving the way for Houston to discover his passion at a tender age. He began his musical journey 18 years ago, performing with boy bands like Climax Boiz and Da Millions before going solo. His breakthrough came in 2012 under Revolution Records after competing in Nigerian Idol Season 2.

Initially immersed in secular music, Houston Grey transitioned to gospel, where he found his true calling. His unique “Hybrid Music” blends divine inspiration with relatable human experiences, offering songs that inspire reflection and gratitude. His influences span diverse legends, including his father, Tuface, R. Kelly, and Hillsong.

Beyond music, Houston Grey is a professional tattoo artist, boldly combining creative expression and faith. With notable performances like Upfront and Personal and White Worship Experience, and the recent release of his EP and singles, Houston Grey is recording and pushing boundaries, delivering messages of hope through his divine artistry.
