The only female presidential aspirant of the PDP Presidential Primaries, Mrs. Tariela Oliver, and Dele Momodu, on Sunday evening, paid a consolidation visit to the former governor of Ekiti State and Presidential aspirant of the PDP, H.E. Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose, at his home in Lagos.
Tari, who had earlier visited Dele Momodu stopped by to visit one of her opponents at the PDP Presidential primary election.
Lere Olayinka, Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media to Fayose said they got a call that Tari would be visiting.
He said Tari came in company of her fellow presidential aspirant and publisher, Dele Momodu and that the former governor warmly received the duo with some of his associates.
According to Lere: “We got a call: Tariela Oliver who was visiting Dele Momodu at his residence this evening will be making an unscheduled stop at Fayose resident also.
A source who was at the residence of Mr. Fayose when Mrs. Tari arrived said, “We were just sitting around when the former governor was informed that Tari and Dele Momodu has arrived.”
The source, who declined to be named as he has no permission to talk to journalists, said the former Ekiti governor was jovial throughout the visit and shared the story of Mrs. Tari’s contributions and support not just to him as a person but to his political sojourn.
Dele Momodu while commenting on the visit said,
“Our meeting with the former governor was convivial and his words were full of candor and wisdom.” The meeting lasted about 40 minutes”
