The celebration of Democracy Day begins at Eagle Square.

The parading of Commander Guards Brigade general salutes has begun the 2022 Democracy Day commemoration festivities at Eagle Square in Abuja.

At 9 a.m., the Guard Commander took his post and saluted.

This would be followed by the entrance of important dignitaries like as the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, and House Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila.

Former presidents and vice presidents are among the others, as are the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, ministries, and members of the National Assembly.
