Video: ‘This Is Embarrassing’ – Igbo Community Cultural Event In America Gets Shut Down

There was a commotion among the Igbo community in the United States of America after their cultural event was abruptly shut down.

We report that in a video obtained by LIB, one of the attendees claimed the organizers of the event being held by the Mbaise community paid a huge sum of over $92,000 for the hall.

However, the Texas hotel management invited the police after the event started at Westin Hotel in Irvine, Texas, to shut them down.

The source who also spoke to LIB said, “This is an embarrassing situation for the people of Mbaise and Nigeria as a whole. The manager of Westin Hotel Irvine Texas just shut down an Mbaise convention while the event is on going.. We stand with Ndi Igbo home and abroad… let’s build our country… We can do it. Stop being humiliated and rejected home and abroad”

Release Nnamdi Kanu – Rita Edochie Tells Tinubu

In other news, veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has urged the President Bola Ahmad-led administration to release the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

We understand that the veteran actress, who has never hidden her support for the secessionist group, made the appeal via her Instagram page, following the growing unrest in the South East region of the country.

Speaking about the unrest that is bedeviling the Southwest, the 55-year-old actress shared a video of various supporters of the IPOB leader calling for his release.

According to the thespian, the unrest in the Southeast region of the country becomes history once Nnamdi Kanu is released. She further rained curses on the ‘elites’ involved in the continued detainment of the IPOB leader.
