Video: Watch Emotional Moment Peter Obi Broke Down In Tears During Press Briefing After Losing 2023 Presidential Election

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi could not hold back the tears on Thursday while lamenting about the deplorable situation in Nigeria and how it is affecting the citizens of the country.

The former Anambra State Governor was narrating the story of an encounter with a jobless female Nigerian graduate who couldn’t secure a job or purchase an N75,000 oven to start a baking business when he became teary.

Overtaken by emotions, the Labour Party candidate lamented that the lady’s situation is a typical example of what is happening to many Nigerians.

We report this occurred during the press briefing held by Obi on the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.

Nigerians Were Robbed

As earlier reported by online media, Obi said during the press conference that Nigerians were robbed during the just-concluded presidential election.

The former Anambra governor however vowed to fight to reclaim his mandate.

He said: “Be rest assured that I and my running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed will not rest.”

The presidential candidate said he and his running mate remain undaunted and committed to the project of a new Nigeria.

Peter Obi said he would challenge the election that produced Bola Tinubu as president-elect.

“If you must answer his excellency, the process by which you arrived at the office must be excellent,” he said.

He promised Nigerians that he will do everything to prove to Nigerians that “we won the election.
