Former presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba has launched an online poll asking Nigerians if they would vote for the presidential candidate, of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shettima or rather die.
Reports that the APC stalwart took to Twitter to ask Nigerians if they would be supporting the Tinubu/ Shettima ticket in the 2023 election.
He wrote, “If you are voting for Tinubu/Shettima Presidential ticket say Ayee or I’ll rather die.”
As at the time of this report, Naija News conducted a check on the poll, 83% of cybernauts had gone for the ‘I will rather die’ option while 17% chose Ayee.
Reports that the front runners in the 2023 election are Tinubu of the APC, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
Obi is known to be a strong force among the Nigerian youths who make up most of the population on social media.
However, other presidential candidates have insisted that Obi’s strong support on social media does not automatically guarantee his victory at the 2023 polls as there are a whole population of those in the grassroots ready to pitch their tent with other flag bearers.
